First of a new series!  We'll scour the net and bring you a live video from somewhere which we think is great and which you'll hopefully enjoy.  First up, New Gold Dream.  It's one of our favourite versions of the song as it really rocks.  Charlie Burchill's guitar work is superb and Jim Kerr is in fine voice.  The video really gets across the fantastic atmosphere that you get in a Simple Minds gig.  Read on to watch the clip.... 

There is no shortage of information flowing from the bowels of Rockfield Studios at the moment and that's great news for us as fans.  It gives us an insight into the process of creating a Simple Minds album and adds palpably to the whole anticipation.  It's great that both Jim Kerr and Jez Coad are interesting writers.  Jim has a more relaxed style whereas Jez just can't hold his excitement back.  The first entry from Jim Kerr is entitled Stop Mother! and can be found here.
